2019 Renault Clio multi-media screen failure

Check / test your car battery first before getting too involved . If low can affect those items .

I have had similar issues with my 2020 MY Clio RS line over the 3 1/2 years I’ve had it. It can be really frustrating but happens when a passenger or an object is put into the front footwell and knocks the cable or the plug that connects to the main fuse box for the multimedia system. My wife has a habit of kicking the plug when she gets in with boots on and it can disable everything on the multimedia screen and put the digital dashboard into a 1 mode only setting. To cure it, take off the front panel from the fuse box inside the glove box and there is a plug on the bottom right of the box underneath. It is black in colour, not the blue one. Wiggle it until everything comes back into life. I hope this helps. The first time this happened to me I drove around for a week in what felt like half a car before I decided to try and fix it as the dealer were useless. It’s a common issue because when Renault converted the deign to right hand drive they didn’t move the plug, and it’s too easy to kick or knock. You can also accidentally kick the lead coming out of the back of the plug and it can cause the same fault. The fix is still the same I’ve found. Hope this helps and you get it sorted 👍🏻
