Main multi screen was blank when I turned the car on so had no sat radio or car info all day I did keep turning the car on and off during the day but later in the day it all turned on again and the multi screen was back to normal?

Could be your battery is low and once driving the alternator boosts the voltage .Especially if not being used much and short start/ stop journeys

Yes, my Renault Captur Plug-in hydrid rental car did exactly the same. I plugged in my phone and everything went black.
Luckily after a 15 min. stop it turned back on.
