Water in Boot
2011 Peugeot 508 1.6 Diesel

There seems to be a build up of water which results in 3-4 inches of water in the well holding the spare tyre. The mats in the boot around the spare tyre well are also very wet indeed. I know that water can get in when you lift the boot lid, but this looks more serious to me, like a seal has busted. Anyone else had this problem with the 508?

It is known that the boot lid stoppers on that car leak water and if removed and sealed / refitted with sealant it can cure a lot of water intrusion
