Power Steering Fault

2004 Peugeot 407 2.0 HDI
Car: Peugeot 407
Year: 2004
Variant: 2.0 HDI
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
I replaced the battery but I put in the wrong way round which caused the terminal to burn out and break off. The terminal was repaired and the car did start and was still ok apart from the Power Steering which I checked the fused which was ok. Can you diagnose the problem?
