Audio display

2005 Peugeot 407 SW

After driving for 20 minutes or so the audio display becomes scrambled and distorted and is illedgable has anyone any ideas as to the cause?

The pixels on my digital display distort after abot 20-30 minutes. I've asked peugeot about getting a replacement display unit and have been told that they have discontinued it not sure if it can be fixed . My mechanic is adiment that if i get one it has to be new direct from peugeot not sure what to do
