2008 Peugeot 407 poor car speed at high engine rpm

The engine speed (rpm) of my car at 100km/h is close to 3500rpm at the fourth gear. At 120km/h, the engine speed goes close to 4000rpm. How do I solve the problem.

does it feel like the engine isn't pulling the vehicle ??
if so it might be your clutch that needs tuning

You cant tune a clutch . Possibly clutch slipping .
