Any help appreciated of similar problems... Car is 2.0 HDI manual gearbox (136). When accelerating gently, at about 1800 rpm there is a rattling noise from engine / gearbox? It doesn't always do it and seems worse when engine is cold. When the revs are higher the noise stops. 70k miles.Thanks.

It could be the inlet dozer butterfly rattling but could also be a bit of injector noise.without hearing it its difficult to say
