hi,having trouble with washers,the washer motor is working but
the water only just reaches the bottom of screen
has been losing its distance to screen for the last couple of weeks

Could be blocked jets or there's a small mesh screen in the res,
could be blocked.
Try clearing the jets with a windscreen jet tool,
they sell on Ebay £5-10.
Or try Halfords.

Do you have a rear wash function?
For a get you out of trouble it's possible to switch over the motors so the rear wash is working when the front is triggered.
Or it's remove the res and clean the filter and check replace the pump.
If I remember it's inside the wheel well behind the plastic inner wheel arch protector.

just before the jets is a non return valve.these can clog also the pump itself although running may be week.
