Water started running out of water hose replaced with one from Peugeot but there is still small leak...anyone any advise

Tighten the hose! Or if not from there then rad weld solution may fix it.

Sure it is the hose that is leaking and not whatever it is attached to ? I.e connection/elbow .

depends which hose it is if it is a radiator hose some have a plastic end on hose with an O ring and plastic retainer if so did you fit a new O ring and make sure housing in rad was clean as above for other type of hose
