Im getting my car serviced next week it is a 54 plate 407 1.6hdi model just done 70,000 miles. Just wondering when the cam/timing belt needs replacing service book doesnt really explain

sorry not sure of the recomended milage for a cam belt change on on the 407 but if it was mine at this milage i would get it changed for peace of mind its a big exspense if it snaps

My Peugeot 407 1.6 hdi has started making a whistling noise when accelerating. The car itself is running fine but the noise is irritating I suspect it may be something to do with the turbo but not sure anyone any ideas?
