2015 Peugeot 308 rear muffler expensive

Car: Peugeot 308
Year: 2015
Variant: Sportium

Rear muffler has come away from exhaust pipe at the joint. I have tried all outlets for repair and all say either part not available or only from Peugeot Dealer who are charging an eye watering £800!! Is this right?

Yes, all the 'fast fit' centres tell me the rear muffler and pipe are not available from their providers and can only be obtained from the Peugeot dealer - nothing on ebay and I also checked scrap dealers for a used exhaust system - nothing!!
However - I have managed to find a garage that specialises in repairing exhaust systems and they can carry out the work as I have the muffler and it is in good condition.
