Brake lights on constantly

Brake lights are on constantly. Bought a replacement from eurocarparts which lasted a week. Now bought a genuine one from peugeot and there still on. Need some help please

And what happens when the brake light switch is unplugged?
do the lamps still light?

did you get an additional harness when you purchased the switch? And is the switch correctly mounted.

Yes. When i unplug the switch the brake lights stay on. Tried new part from peugeot and the brake lights are still on. Plugged up car via diagnostic computer and reset cars system. Worked fine for less than 24hrs and after abit of harsh braking (driver pulled out of me) the lights have stayed on ever since

it sounds like a bsi fault.Had same problem on a partner van.
