2006 Peugeot 307 loud grinding noise when you try to drive it.

Parked car in garage. Went to drive it out and loud grinding noise coming from the o/side front. Frightened to drive it case I do more damage.

Could be brake pads worn out or wheel bearing .Need to get it jacked up and checked out .

Whilst it`s jacked up, also check the suspension leg/spring etc

If it was ok when you parked it its most likely a coil spring that's snapped and is now resting on the tyre/wheel.
