Rear brake lights not working; rear boot light working

2004 Peugeot 307 1.6
Car: Peugeot 307

Hi,

I've got a 307 and the rear brake lights have stopped working. The boot break light is working. I've checked the fuses and replaced the bulbs and still no joy. I've had a look the break switch but given the boot break light works I guess there's no problem with it.

Not sure what to do next. Can anyone help?

Thanks

Take it you fitted correct bulb ? usualy 382 double contact ? If so check you are getting power to bulbs .

Had the same problem. Sprayed the brake light switch with WD40 and hey presto saved myself £30 for a new switch. The switch is located under the glove compartment.
