2000 Peugeot 307 gear stuck

Car: Peugeot 307
Year: 2000
Variant: 1.6SW

I stopped the car, turned off the engine with the gear in D. Now it's stuck. I can't shift the gear, and can't start the car. What can I do?

Could check the brake light switch .( see if brake lights work )
