I have a semi automatic, it randomly decides not to start. On the touch screen a warning message comes up saying "Gear box fault, get repaired". The car will not start, when I leave the car for a period of time and then try again it will start up. I have tried shifting gears to reset, does not work, tried to disconnect battery to reset, does not work. I have only had the car a year and am very disappointed, love the car, hate the fault...drives me mad..

Get a diagnostic scan carried out with a suitable scanner that covers all systems / modules and retrieve the stored fault codes
