How can i tell if the engine in my car is engine number TU3 or KFW?
Would it say on the engine block somehwere, if so any ideas where to?

You should have VIN ( Vehicle Identification Number) either on the windscreen closer to the wiper blades with this you will be able to get which Engine family the code belogns to.
