Car cutting out

2000 Peugeot 206 2.0 GTi

On-going for the past 6 months. Have had coil pack replaced, no change, ECU checked - all clear. Car now dangerous to drive - not sure what else to try - on first name terms with all the AA rescue guys in the area! Any advice would be appreciated.

The Bug

map sensor and crankshaft position sensors most likely to cause fault!!!!
