2001 Peugeot 206 autogear box fault

on accosions the display comes up with gearbox failure then the car will stick in 2nd gear until u pull over and swicth of the ignition an restart

i would recommend getting box ecu read for faults.May be a pressure regulation fault but fault codes stored will help diagnose fault.
