2001 Peugeot 206 engine cuts out on start up and left indicator flashes

hi wen i start my wifes peugeot 206 the left indicator will flash by itself and the car will cut out if i sit there reving the car for a while evetually the car will tick over and wen i kick down the gears it seems like a clucht slipping then it engages gear wot can these problems be thanks ben

When you are having starting the car have you noticed if the vehicle is missing as if its running on 3 cylinders as these vehicles are prone to injector failure which sounds like what could be happening to yours but with the indicator flashing then its possible an electrical issue to the engine management system so id first be looking at the earths in about the engine bay..
