2005 Peugeot 206 cooling fan

The cooling fan frequently comes on when parking up. Even on short trips and cold weather,which is quite annoying !

Any ideas why please.

is it petrol or diesel? Does it have aircon?

Hi. It's a diesel,with air con.

if its a 1.6 with particulate filter it may be a software issue.I could also be a fault with a/c if it is switched on i.e too much pressure

O.K Thanks.Will get the a/c checked out although fan has come on when a/c is of.
