Peugeot 206 rear window washer and window

Hi, the rear washer motor of my car has seized, apparently replacing the motor is not simply picking up another one. Is it true that a rear heated window has also to be bought, then fusebox replaced and then the whole unit to be 'programed in "? and each car has its own unique program code. Maybe i am old fashioned but is this what i have to go through to replace it (unit cost350, 600 to fit) :( wow! also a common fault in this car? This is really putting me off this make if true.
