1999 Peugeot 206 will not start

HAVE RECENTLY REPLACED THE ENGINE, ONE FROM A SALVAGE COMPANY AS THE OLD ONE DIED(HEAD GASKET KEPT GOING HEAD WORPED.
HAVE REPLACED THE CAM BELT AND CHECKED THE TIMING TWICE TO MAKE SURE IT IS CORRECT, PUT NEW GLOW PLUGS IN AND CHECKED POWER IS OK (HAD NOW PREVIOUS PROBLEMS WITH ELECTRICS ASSUME ALL IS OK HERE)ENGINE WILL NOT START.
TRIED TOWING ALL SEEMED OK OIL LIGHT OUT ALL WORNING LIGHTS OUT AND ENGINE SOUNDED IN GOOD CONDITION, SALVAGE COMPANY PERFORMED COMPRESSION TEST BEFORE SALE !!!

Good Day,

first check all the pipes are fitted and secure pipe from the fuel tank is attached. Fuel filter is renewed.

If this model is fitted with a ECU system you may want to get that check and reprogrammed as well
