2005 Peugeot 206 knocking noise

Everytime i go over a bump or uneven road surface i get a knocking noise from the front of the car. I have had it checked underneath, but everything seems to be ok. Do 206 GTi's have a common problem the the suspension?

Could check front drop links which are a common fault , suspension arms (wishbone) , top mounts , coil springs etc. etc .
