1999 Peugeot 206 fanbelt flapping making hidius noise

i recently bought my 206 and when u turn the engine on or are sat stationary the fanbelt makes an awful flapping sound we tightened the adjusters up it was great for a day and now its as noisy as ever xx

Probably need a new belt and this checked ,if applicable .

I expect the tensioner wheel has a worn bearing, common XUD point.

thank u though along those lines we have bought a new fan belt just need to pick up new wheel been told around 30 quid xxthanks x
