I have replaced the outer case of my key remote, the original had worn and cracked. Since swapping the blade and the "innards" the car wont start, it turns over but wont actually start, the remote will lock/unlock the car. What can I do? I have read on this site how to reset it, but there are references made to a led light on the fob, mine doesnt have one, just a lock and unlock function. Please help!

check the old handset casing to make sure there is`nt a transponder chip in it.if there is then swap it over

You havent swapped the chips over.
