2002 Peugeot 206 engine will turn over but not start eco mod on display

hi help please my car will not start but turns over the display always says eco mod,
when turning key you can here fuel pump start, other strange, things radio will not
work,side lights will come on but you cant
turn them on or off nor headlights,but all dash lights work as normal
battery checked & charged will hold 12volts,fuses checked in both engine bay & bsi unit
removed spark plugs no spark at all.
been told its an immobiliser / ecu fault ?
any thoughts ?

ignore my question its 2002 car!! check gearbox earth first. does rev counter work when turning over? poss engine speed sensor fault

battery could also be knackered

hi thanks for your help!
the rev counter does move when turning engine over. not checked g/box earth yet. Had a guy come with diagnostic unit to check
all sensors checked ok. told me was coil pack fault changed with new one + fitted spark plugs.
still will not fire up i need to check for spark
what do you mean by multiplex fault ?

the car needs to start to get out of economy mode. the radio is not working because of this.You may have a transponder fault so key is not recognised. If key is left in ignition and door opened with everything switched off you should get an audible warning.if you are not getting this the key is not seen as being present by the bsi.You could also have a fault with the switch unit on the steering column!

hi my car turns over but wont start there is no noise from fuel pump i have been told that is problem but dont want to buy one if it is somthing else please help i am stuck thanks amosboy
