Clutch....HELP

2003 Peugeot 206 1.2 lx
Car: Peugeot 206
Year: 2003
Variant: 1.2 lx
Categories: Gearbox & Clutch
Hi,

I have just had a new clutch fitted to my car but feel the bite is far to high (pretty much just before releasing pedal completely). Mechanic has told me that its fine and its a self adjusting cable and ill have to live with it.

Could someone tell me if its normal for a new clutch to be so high?

cheers

Nikki

beware that model of car has a problem with the gearbox input shaft sleeve that the clutch bearing runs on check your garage checked it when fitting clutch
