1999 Peugeot 206 206 auto wont turn over

Hi my wifes 206 1.4 auto ,started ok put into drive pulled off but cut out and would not turn over just like a flat battery,took the battery of put on charge then put back onto the car ,still wont turn over, all electrics ok,so bought a new battery fully charged ,still wont turn over, all leads tight and clean , turns over very slow then the clicking kicks in , any one have any idea's thanks

check that the engine earth and body earth strap has not broken and is secure its under the battery and is bolted to the gearbox and bodywork

Thankyou wiggy4170 will look in the morning,one more thing the battery that has been on for the past 4 years is a 62 amp, the new battery is a 55 amp will this make any difference thanks again
