Beeping noise

My daughter has asked me to post this problem she is having where on trying to start the car it will not turn over, there is a beeping, and everything resets (ie, the clock) After this the car will start. Any ideas please.

it will be the computer.don't start the car straigth away give time to the computer to initialize,,just turn on the engine and leave atleast 15-30 sec.before u start.
