206 GTI 180 not starting

2004 Peugeot 206 180 gti
Car: Peugeot 206
Year: 2004
Variant: 180 gti
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Hi, my 206 GTi 180 2004 is currently at the local petrol station as it wouldn’t start. It’s turning over and recently had a new battery (3months) and starter motor(1 month ago).
The other day it wouldn’t start and said “immobiliser fault” so I took the keys out, set the alarm, unlocked it and it started first time. This time it isn’t starting. Any ideas?

Could try another key if you have one .

I do have the spare but the battery seems dead. I’m feeling terrible for not getting it replaced now! I think the one on my main key is getting low as it’s getting more difficult to set it from a short distance now.

I’ve left the car for an hour and am about to go back, tooled up to disconnect the battery for a bit if necessary so wish me luck!

Thanks for your response!

Ok, I went to get my baby girl all tooled up and she started first time!
Happy but I need to work out why this happened.
Thanks all!
