2001 Peugeot 206 my car is not accelerating

When you go to warm the car in the morning it doesn't fire, and when drive the car it doesn't accelerate , till you off the car and fire it several times before it picks, then it works normal for sometime and then repeats same thing again.

With a car of that year and unknown mileage and history , many possible causes .You done any servicing , checks , routine maintenance work on car ? Get it scanned and see what codes show.
