2001 Peugeot 206 won't start immediately

My car won't start immediately when the engine is cold or if it's stop/ parked for long time , but when it's still hot it doesn't give me any problems

1st suspect would have to be the coolant temperature sensor.
In effect it puts the "choke" on for a richer fuel mixture for start up.
