2003 Peugeot 206 when turning ignition on there is a short buzzing sound before going to start and the gauges go to zero and lights go off

Passed MOT last week and fitted new battery. Car going well until this morning. Problem arisen suddenly. Tried a number of times to no avail.

Possibly a faulty BSI unit.

Short buzzing is probably the fuel pump priming which isnormal.Try a jump start , if it starts get alternator charging rate checked .
