I am trying to purchase power steering pipes for my vehicle yet they are no longer made so struggling with this.
my question is can i use any 1.4 version from 2004 up on my vehicle of does it have to be made for a 2004 model as well as for a diesel only or can you use a petrol one as well?

Try your local hydraulic specialist.
They're everywhere and repair pipes for big trucks and anything that uses hydraulics.
They ought to be able to help.
