Boot springs suddenly failed

2004 Peugeot 206 Cabriolet 206cc
Car: Peugeot 206
Year: 2004
Variant: Cabriolet 206cc
Tried to open the boot this morning but the springs have failed. I have had no problems before and this just happened. I was driving with the roof down yesterday and with no problems.

If it's the struts , simple and cheap to replace .
