2005 Peugeot 206 1.6 Sport Starting Problem

Problem added: Dec 14, 2015 (4 years ago)
When trying to start the car in the morning, the car turns over and starts but then cuts out after about 5-10 seconds and there is no power to the accelerator. After trying this a few times the car will start and the power to the accelerator comes back - any ideas?

It has had a new battery so I know this is not the problem.
