2000 Peugeot 206 steering

When I drive the car the steering feels very light and all over as tho the wheels are loose. There is no play or rattle when I shake the wheels but something definitely does not feel right. Also I have noticed the outer of the tyre on the left is worn. Any ideas please? Thank you.

You need to get steering checked out for wear and if o.k , get alignment checked and adjusted if needed .
