Intermittent starting cut out when driving

I bought the car 1 month ago and have tried various fixes, car will start some mornings not others, cleaned throttle unit thought it was sorted, removed and cleaned again nope, changed cam sensor sorted, then it cut out after a mile, it feels like a petrol issue because car turns over well but wont fire. ideas asap please car is now abandoned on the way to work :-(

You need to find out ~IF the spark plugs are firing,
And If you have a rev counter does that read any RPM when you crank it?
