2001 Peugeot 206 speaker interferance

I seem to have interferance comming through my n/s speaker. The strange thing is it stops when i touch my brake but starts again when i press my clutch or used the accelarator for a bit. It just seems strange the problem appears to be connected to my brake pedal even though its on the other side of the car. Any help would be greatley appreciated as I need to do a long journey soon and im afraid the interferance would drive me insane
