2000 Peugeot 206 boot permanently ,locked

My central locking works for the doors but the boot is permanently locked.

Does anyone have any suggestions please?

probably the locking solenoid in the boot lid does it have a keyhole to manually unlock it if not try giving the boot a bit of a tap around the lock whilst pressing the key if all fails you will have to remove the cover inside the boot to manually unlock it
