2006 Peugeot 206 cutting out while moving

Car: Peugeot 206
Year: 2006
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi !
Having problems with my Peugeot 206
Has now taken to cutting out on starting/ low rev moving
Intermittent fault..can also lock steering sometimes.
Also since changing indicator bulb seems to be showing passenger airbag disabled..understand faulty indicator unit can cause this..so I'm wondering as its the same side.
For yr info to date have changed following.
Cam belt. Catalytic conv.coil pack. Spark plugs.lambda sensors x 2 . Starter motor.
Like Johny Cash says..I'm building it one part at a time !
Think may be sending petrol through Cat too.
Horn also packed up.Car been showing engine management light although been in garage reguarly ?
Despite all...I still love my Peugeot. .but then I am crazy.
Any help gratefully rec.
Many thanks...

yes ive heard of this sort of thing going on with peugeot 206 and is often down to a faulty bsi unit, which is like a comfort control box. On the 206 its part of the fuse box under the bonnet i think. Going on your symtoms thats where my money would be although it may not be and i wouldnt expect it to be responsible for all your cars problems! To change the bsi you got to change the engine ecu and key and transponder as a kit because they are all coded to eachother. Important you get a kit from a car with same engine and interior comfort/trim level as your car. Second hand kit less than 100 quid and not too hard to fit.
