Gears not working

have a manual peugeot 206. gear stick has been a bit loose and there is possibly a leak of some fluid coming through carpet next to accelerator. today gear stick refuses to enter or change gears and cant drive it. what is wrong and what can i do?

Check your brake resovoir is up to level ,check where fluid leak is coming from.check gear change linkage is all secure.

Assuming clutch is operating o.k , most likely to be the gear linkage which is a very common fault .
