2001 Peugeot 206 lights blowing

Water seems to be leaking in to the rear lights and as a consequence bulbs don't last long. Is this a common occurrence? Can the light cluster be sealed?

Yes , common fault .

Seen some who couldn't be bothered fixing and drilled a couple of holes in lamps to let water drain out .
