i have a peugeot 206 and i am having a problem with its transmission. often times my car is starting very slow and the light for the "sport and snowflake" keeps on sounding and light from my dashboard. i'm going to switch on and off the engine to get rid of the problem. but every time i am in the speed of 120kph or over my transmission is having a hard leak and i have to maintain my speed up to the third gear only.moreover my car is having a hard time to shift gears. now i am not using my car til i can find a proper solution to the problem. can anyone please help me out and sort out the problem

Rather than guess the many possible causes , get it scanned and see what fault codes are shown .

check battery if not turning over well also earth leads check rectify gear box oil leak or you will cause serious damage to box as a starting point
