Gearbox noise

I have a 206 gti with a clicking noise when accelerating. checked the drive shafts and the noise seems to be in the gearbox diff has anyone had this problem.

yes oil level is fine I replaced the clutch and driveshafts back in November last year

the noise started lastnight

when you did clutch was the release bearing sleeve ok as these can get damaged/it could be the input shaft bearing or the diff as these are a problem on this gearbox i would remove box check the release bearing sleeve and either fit a second hand box or have yours repaired but could be expensive when done and re-fitted make sure you fill with the correct gearbox oil

it could be your exhaust manifold rattling if it only happens when accelerating
