Overheating

I have been on earlier and got advice, BUT I can't see the thermostat where abouts. I have changed the stat in previous cars, but can't find this one. hope the same person can solve this one. thank you.

2002 Peugeot 206 Thermostat Installation Instructions

1. Open the hood and disconnect the negative terminal cable from the battery. Place a drain pan underneath the decrease radiator hose.
2. Remove the cap from the engine coolant growth chamber. Unfasten the clamp holding the lower radiator hose in place. Take away the lower radiator hose and permit the coolant to drain out of the radiator and growth chamber. Reconnect the hose to the radiator when finished.
3. Locate the higher radiator hose and comply with it along the proper facet of the engine bay till it ends on the thermostat housing on the engine block. Unfasten the clamp holding the higher radiator hose in place and disconnect it from the housing.
4. Use a ratchet and socket to take away the two bolts holding the housing in place. Take away the thermostat housing and set it aside. Note the orientation of the thermostat before eradicating it. The brand new thermostat must be installed in the identical orientation because the outdated thermostat for a proper fit.
5. Take away the O-ring and the thermostat. Use a slotted screwdriver to scrape away any gasket residue left on the mounting surface.
6. Install the new thermostat in the identical orientation because the old thermostat. Place the O-ring over the thermostat and place the housing over the thermostat. Reinsert the two retaining bolts and tighten them with the ratchet and socket.
7. Join the upper radiator hose to the thermostat housing and reattach the retaining clip to the hose. Refill the expansion tank with the suitable quantity of recent engine coolant as specified by the owner’s manual.
8. Reconnect the negative terminal cable to the battery. Begin the engine and examine beneath the engine near the radiator and thermostat housing space for any leaks. Monitor the coolant degree within the expansion tank and add extra coolant as needed. Eliminate the outdated coolant in an environmentally pleasant manner.
