2000 Peugeot 206 fog lights at front not working

Car: Peugeot 206
Year: 2000
Variant: 2.0 HDI D Turbo
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
Hi, on my peugeot 206 the front fog lights arent working.

The light on the dash comes on as if they should work ok but they dont.

Back fog light switched on by the same stalk on wheel, works fine (light on dash comes on as normal also)

Could it be possible that BOTH fog lights blew at the same time if so how do i get to them to change them?

Headlights, full beam, side lights, indicators, brake lights all work fine without a problem, used them a few weeks ago front fogs and they were working fine.

Is there a fuse I should check, where and what number fuse if so?
I have fuses under steering wheel and in engine bay if its a fuse which one?

Can anyone help thank you.

Check the fuse first as you need to get to the back of the light to access the bulbs.but they can both go.

If not above suggestion ,test for power going to the bulbs. If o.k, then you may have an earthing problem.

It varies from model to model and year . Unless you have handbook or it's marked on cover , you will have to manually test / check individually .Sometimes you will see just looking if fuse blown .

from the picture it is clear that there is a 10 amp fuse blown at top of picture third in from the left.replace this and check to see if any others are blown

Well spotted " paulieone " .Possibly other two red 10 amp fuses beside it gone also ?

Great You men know what your looking at thank you! Going to replace all three red 10amp fuses see what happens, where would I get them from I hear they're like 10p each haha?

You can get them from most car accessory shops or the likes of Halfords .Very cheap .

I've replaced all fuses in the box and still they don't work. Going to try and replace bulbs next see what happens, how do I get access to
The bulbs as underneath car is blocked with plastic so I'm guessing get in from behind front wheel after removing it, am I correct?

there should be a small access panel in the wheel arch liner.

I'm sorry what is a wheel arch liner? Do I have to remove the wheel completely? And then around where the wheel would go there's a plastic round thing, do I remove that to get acces to the fogs? Thanks

So just turn the wheels in the opposite direction, open the flap in the wheel arch liner, remove the cap by unscrewing then pull out the bulb, replace and re-insert back the way it was before removal, test the bulb - works again now woohoo!
