2001 Peugeot 206 engine wont start, dash lights come on but then go mental needles bounce

when I turn the ignition on the dash lights up as normal but when I try to start the car the needles bounce about and then everything goes off.the car has had a bump but then put right and was driven for a half hour.

try the fuel cut out swicth under the bonnet right hand side at the top by the windscreen just press it in and try to start it again if not sound like your ecu .

My 206 fires up then dies straight away I have changed plugs and coil pack and I'm stuck now it's a 1.1 2002 year can any one help???
