2000 Peugeot 206 rear dimister and remote centeral locking

Demister
the demister powers up when i press the button and it makes the clicking sound it always makes when it turns on, but it doesnt do anything at all to the back window, it just stays all fogged up.
Centeral Locking
the remote centeral locking opens the car, but when i press the button to lock the car, most times it doesnt lock. it makes a noise of the locks going down but they dont lock. other times it does work, usually not though.
i think it has something to do with one of the doors/boot, but im not sure.
if anyone has any advice greatly appreicieated.

One of the power wires may have come off the rear screen or it may have been damaged by something bulky being put in the boot area.
As things sound like they are working i would imagine its a fault on the door lock essy
